Introduction

I have been in the industry for 20 years and have won several design awards. One recently, I was a winner in the 2008 Australian Catalogue Awards in the General Apparel Section - High Volume Fashion Category - Rebel Sport Performance Footwear.
My ambition is to continue to produce award winning material for my clients and hope to achieve excellence for their products or services in the eyes of their customers through an increase in sales and profits for their organisations.

Expertise

I visualise ideas always with markers and pens first... being able to draw gives me an advantage over other designers who only use computers.
As a catalogue designer, one must be able to visualise using paper and pencil - or clients simply could not afford it. Pencil sketches saves time and money when it comes to complex photo shoots... every photographers that I've worked with has preferred sketches over any other method.
Also, I'm highly experienced using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as QuarkXpress.
My understanding of typography is strong, and my knowledge of paper makes my all round skills solid and invaluable to any employer.
