Expertise
A BA (Graphic Design) graduate of Swinburne in 1982, David has mostly worked in publishing and corporate identity design.
He started teaching part-time: layout and design at the Canberra Institute of Technology and, later, print production and professional practice at the University of Canberra.
He moved from studio management and design direction to higher education.
After speaking at a conference, he was invited by a national magazine to write a monthly column on graphic design that continued for 11 years.
This prompted a publisher to request a reference book on graphic design which became 'The Design Manual'.
David has moved into corporate communications, design and web management since.
